Shopify NetSuite integration

We connect Shopify to Oracle NetSuite with a monitored, two-way sync. Customers, orders, inventory, fulfilment, pricing and invoices move cleanly, so your team stops re-keying and your stock stops lying.

The cost of a disconnected NetSuite

NetSuite runs your finance, inventory and fulfilment. When Shopify isn't wired into it, the gap gets filled by people, spreadsheets and luck.

01

Manual re-keying

Orders typed from Shopify into NetSuite by hand, with the transcription errors and delays that follow.

02

Oversells and stockouts

Stock levels drift between the two systems, so you sell what you can't ship.

03

Slow fulfilment

Fulfilments and tracking lag behind, and customers email asking where their order is.

04

Messy month-end

Invoices and refunds don't reconcile, so finance loses days chasing numbers.

What syncs, which way

The default data flow. We confirm direction and source of truth per object in discovery.

What the integration does

A clean, monitored bridge between Shopify and NetSuite, built around your data rather than a generic template.

What syncs

  • Customers and contacts, matched to NetSuite records
  • Shopify orders posted as NetSuite sales orders
  • Inventory and stock levels across warehouses and locations
  • Fulfilments and tracking pushed back to Shopify
  • Items, SKUs, price levels and catalogue data
  • Invoices, cash sales and refunds for clean AR

How it works

  • Per-object direction, one-way or two-way, decided in discovery
  • Orders sync in real time via Shopify webhooks
  • Inventory and pricing on a short scheduled cycle
  • NetSuite as source of truth for stock, price and finance
  • Field-level mapping to your NetSuite item and customer records
  • Validated against a NetSuite sandbox before go-live

Reliability

  • Idempotent writes, so nothing double-posts
  • Automatic retries with backoff on API errors
  • Failed records queued for replay, never silently dropped
  • Respect for NetSuite governance and rate limits
  • Full audit log of every record and payload
  • Monitoring and alerts on sync failures

How we deliver the integration

A disciplined path from data map to a sync you can trust in production.

01

Discovery

We map every object, volume, edge case and who owns the source of truth.

02

Data-flow design

Direction, triggers, frequency and field mapping documented before a line of code.

03

Build

We build the sync, connector-configured or custom middleware, against your sandbox.

04

UAT

You test real orders end to end across NetSuite and Shopify until it's boring.

05

Deploy

Phased cutover with a rollback plan, watched closely on day one.

06

Monitor & support

Dashboards, alerts and reconciliation, with us on hand when NetSuite changes.

What a NetSuite integration costs

Realistic AUD ranges, typical for the work. Every integration is scoped after discovery.

A bespoke sync service for non-standard or high-volume flows.

Enterprise / Plus

$40,000+

Multi-store, multi-subsidiary and complex fulfilment rules.

NetSuite integration FAQs

Both, by object. Orders post to NetSuite in real time via Shopify webhooks; inventory and pricing run on a short scheduled cycle to respect NetSuite's API limits. We tune each to your volumes.
It depends on your flows. An iPaaS like Celigo covers standard order and inventory sync well. For non-standard mapping, high volume or multi-subsidiary setups, custom middleware is cheaper to run and easier to change. We scope both in discovery.
We can run it as a managed service or deploy it into your own cloud account so you keep full control. Either way you get logs, monitoring and documentation.
Nothing is lost. Writes are idempotent and retried with backoff, failed records go to an error queue for replay, and we alert on repeated failures rather than dropping data.
Per object. Inventory, pricing and fulfilment usually flow NetSuite to Shopify; orders and customers flow Shopify to NetSuite. We set the source of truth for each so the two systems never fight.
Yes. We map to your item, customer and price records, including custom fields and SuiteScript, and test against your sandbox before go-live.
