EzyDog's European presence was the hardest project we have taken on. The markets were spread across separate country domains, the store was on BigCommerce, and the analytics configuration was a mess that made trustworthy data almost impossible.
Replatform to Shopify
We migrated the European store from BigCommerce to Shopify and consolidated the markets onto one properly structured store.
Fix tracking properly
To get data we could trust in GA4, we reworked the tracking setup and deliberately changed the URL structure twice until the measurement was genuinely clean.
Clean up the crawl
We resolved a large volume of 404 errors and the crawl-budget waste behind them, optimised the affected pages, configured hreflang correctly across all five markets, and managed robots.txt carefully.
The European store now runs on Shopify with clean tracking, correct hreflang across five markets and a healthy crawl profile, and it is producing sales and organic performance again.
